We are thrilled to announce that Spotlight Series 3 is premiering on Cogeco YourTV on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. and will repeat throughout Thanksgiving Weekend until October 12th. Tune in from the comfort of your home to catch the compelling stories of six artists from across Northumberland County sharing their stories, passion and process. Thank you, Cogeco!
Thank you to our Spotlight artists, Kate Boothman, Cale Crowe, Oli Goldsmith, Kate Hessin, Ian Jack, and Jennifer Trefiak for sharing their stories, passion and process and collectively showcasing the talent Northumberland County has to offer!
Spotlight Series 3 would not be possible without the support and dedication of a terrific team, Elizabeth Palermo and Fabio Palermo, our gracious location host’s, Tracey and Marisa of the Port Event Space and our local sponsors, Jacqueline Pennington, SMM Law, Long & McQuade and the Ontario Trillium Foundation Resilient Communities grant. Thank you to our talented production team, CCO Productions!
Spotlight Series 3 is a FREE event made possible by local sponsors and the Ontario Trillium Foundation Resilient Communities grant. The first two Spotlight Series raised $10,000 and continues to support online arts education initiatives like the Art to Go kits, which afforded art activity kits to Northumberland families through a partnership with Local Food for Local Good. Previously, we partnered with Rebound Child and Youth Services to send children to AGN’s Summer Art Camp. Together we have brought community engagement art projects that perhaps would not have happened without the support of the Spotlight Series fundraiser.
Stay connected with us on our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube or sign up for the AGN Newsletter to learn more about our upcoming events!

Spotlight Series wouldn’t exist without the collaboration of local artists and the dedicated support of businesses like SMM Law. For the third year in a row, Sarah Jacob has directly enabled arts education programming for local youth and adults in the community by sponsoring Spotlight Series.
Sarah’s work as a lawyer focuses on her areas of expertise: Corporate and Commercial Law, Estate Planning and Administration, and Real Estate. She has a history of engagement and advocacy in support of women, low-income families, and the homeless. Sarah is also an active supporter of the arts in Northumberland County, having previously been a Board Member with Critical Mass: A Centre for Contemporary Art in Port Hope and currently on the Board of Directors at the AGN.
“Proudly serving Northumberland residents with competency, caring, and compassion for over 30 years.”
Thank you, Sarah for your dedication and support!
